my stay was really really nice in a very historic town. the management was affable, as well as the staff. the room was well-equipped and modern, the bed was comfy, enjoyed it. the location was excellent, relatively near selfie-point input klever tor.

I loved the amazing location of this place, as it was close to the archaeological sites we were exploring.

The restaurant had delicious regional German cuisine, and I even managed to get an iron/ironing board and a crib/infant bed on request. Plus, I had a great time biking around the area with their bike hire service.

The hotel's location made it easy to explore the town center and the secure parking was a bonus for our bikes.

The lack of air conditioning or a fan in the room, which was a bit uncomfortable during the heatwave. the lights in the beer garden were strangely turned off while we were still there, cutting our time short.

We got great value for our money at Hotel Neumaier in Xanten. The room was fantastic - spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with modern furnishings. The location was perfect, just a couple of minutes' walk from the main square and a short distance from the railway station. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, with the owner speaking excellent English and providing us with useful information about the local area.
